Welcome to my beloved home! Please make yourself at home, and please take care of it like your own home. 🙂
Keys
You’ll find two keys: one for the building (the jagged one) and the other for the apartment’s deadbolt (the smoother one).
Don’t lock the doorknob as there’s no key for it. Always lock the deadbolt when you exit the apartment.

Amenities
Bedroom
Queen-sized bed with linen bedding. Dark curtains and windows with thick glass for warmth and quiet. Two three-seat sofas in the living room (also good for sleeping one person each).
Kitchen
Full kitchen with gas stove, oven, toaster oven, and Vitamix blender.
Wifi
Superfast gigabit wifi. The wifi network is The Rainforest. The password is: thereisanothersky
... which is the first line of an Emily Dickinson poem🔗
It should be fast and good to go.
Sound System
High-fidelity Q Acoustics sound system with speakers in the living room and the bedroom. Once you’re on the wifi network, you can connect to them via Airplay. Speaker system is called Ghost Town.
To play music:
- Connect to The Rainforest wifi
- Start music on your phone
- On your iPhone, select audio output “Ghost Town”
Projector
There’s a movie projector on top of the bookcase. Projector should turn on automatically if you hit Menu on the Apple TV remote. If for some reason projector doesn’t turn on, you can stand on the couch and push the power button on the projector. Be very gentle so as not to move the projection angle of the projector.
Remember to turn off the projector when done.
Apple TV
Projector is connected to Apple TV, which has all the streaming services (Netflix, Max, Amazon Prime, Paramount Plus, and Hulu). Apple TV network is called Foreign Correspondents Club.
There’s an Apple TV remote. To play movie audio through the fancy speakers, long-press the top right button on the remote and change audio output to “Ghost Town.” (Due to a design flaw in that generation of Apple TV, there’s no way to change the default audio output to play over Airplay, so you may have to change it yourself.)
Bedroom TV
There’s a 65-inch 4K Ultra HDTV in the bedroom. Network is called Camera Obscura if you want to Airplay to it.
By the bed there’s a Roku TV remote for the TV.
Workstation
Large work desk in the bedroom with 4k monitor, vertical mouse, ring light, and webcam. You can connect to all at once by plugging into the dock via USBC.
Note that Ghost Town speakers play in the bedroom also.
Theragun
There’s a Theragun by the bed.
Piano
Feel free to play the piano, but please be super careful, and close and cover it, because it costs like $20k or something and it’s not mine.
Cleaning and Check-Out
Please leave the place super clean. Thanksss!!
