Abstract

This article examines the tension between AI capabilities and human creativity, arguing that while AI can imitate, replicate, and innovate based on patterns, it lacks the raw emotional depth and lived human experiences that fuel genuine creativity. The author proposes viewing AI as a collaborative partner in 'augmented intelligence' rather than a competitor to human creative expression.
